Responsibilities The incumbent of this position serves as a Motor Vehicle Operator/Laborer assigned to the Grounds & Transportation Team of the Facility Management Division, at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Major Duties: -Performs Laborer related actives for the grounds unit including, but not limited to: cutting grass with gasoline powered push mowers, cutting grass with gasoline powered string trimmers, shoveling snow, removing snow with gasoline powered snow blower, clean outside areas with gasoline powered backpack blowers, garbage and trash pickup/removal, use gasoline powered pressure washer to clean inside of shelters, sidewalks, and Front-End Loaders, trucks, and other equipment. -Operates passenger vehicles, step vans, pickup trucks with power lift gates, flatbed trucks, snow plows and salter units with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 10,000 pounds or less to transport equipment, supplies, and employees on Milwaukee VA Medical Center Campus. -Performs pre-trip inspections and safety inspection form and trip documentation. Work Schedule: Full time, Monday-Friday, 6 AM-2:30 PM, Incumbent is considered emergency essential and may be required to work outside of his/her normal duty hours. The position is AWS eligible for 8 - 9 hr days, 1 - 8 hr day and one day off a pay period, the day off being a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. NOTE: The incumbent must possess and maintain a valid state driver\'s license (DL) at all times. Incumbent may be exposed to dirt, dust, and fumes while driving, loading/unloading of vehicles and Grounds related work. Work is carried out on the Medical Center Campus in all types of traffic, at low speeds, in confined and congested areas, and in all types of weather. Job description Anytime Fitness is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to manage facility and equipment repairs across locations in the east Madison to Milwaukee area. The right candidate can travel, has great communication and trouble-shooting skills, is highly organized, self-sufficient, and possesses exceptional facility and mechanical repair skills. Fitness industry experience is a bonus. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Plans and schedules maintenance of the facility and equipment, including cost estimates to report to superiors. Initiates weekly, monthly, and quarterly planned maintenance programs for a variety of facility equipment. Responsible for the preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and plumbing. Manages the maintenance of the building, grounds, equipment, and gym facility. Inspects for broken or malfunctioning equipment. Ensures the working operation of the mechanical, electrical, and exercise equipment. Ensures adequate inventory of maintenance supplies. Conducts frequent walkthroughs of facilities to ensure all equipment is in working order. Oversee deliveries. Assembles any new equipment that the facilities receive on order (Torque racks, etc.) Possesses awareness and knowledge of emergency procedures. Ensures high level of customer service. Personal accountability. Keeps in compliance with and stays up to date with all OSHA regulations. Be available to be on-call after hours should any plumbing, electrical, etc, emergencies arise. Be mechanically inclined and have an in-depth knowledge of tools and how to use them. Familiarize with all systems, safety measures, policies, and procedures that Anytime Fitness puts forth.
