At Houston Methodist, the Sr Sterile Processing Technician position is responsible for maintaining high standards for decontamination, assembly, inspecting, wrapping, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment for Surgical Services and all ancillary departments, which includes working in conjunction with the Operating Room (OR) staff to provide timely sterile products, trays and case carts where applicable. This position maintains consistent and continuous workflow between the OR and Sterile Processing while practicing excellent customer service. The Sr Sterile Processing Technician Tech position must be certified, and therefore should demonstrate advanced knowledge of sterilization techniques, surgical instruments, and an in-depth understanding of the Sterile Processing department\'s relationship with other departments within the hospital.

At Houston Methodist, the Marketing Technology (MarTech) Senior (Sr.) Product Strategist position is responsible for leading technical proficiencies and the technical roadmap and designs for the assigned product to inform an innovative and seamless experience that increases patient and consumer engagement and volume while driving efficiencies in production, implementation and administration. This position is accountable for the coordination and planning for product and experience implementations, enhancements, and maintenance in alignment with business priorities and service line goals as well as the administration of product capabilities.
At Houston Methodist, the Patient Care Assistant (PCA) position is responsible for functioning as novice to competent and demonstrates basic knowledge and skills necessary to communicate appropriately and carry out delegated nursing assistant level tasks for assigned age-specific, diverse patient population, assisting in the delivery of patient care and services under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This position conducts hourly rounding to ensure patient needs are met and records data established by policy and procedure, and reports observations and patient problems to the licensed nurse. The PCA position performs basic patient care activities of daily living (ADL\'s) within unit-specific defined limits and job scope, such as assistance with patient elimination, hygiene, comfort, safety, nutrition, and progress activity and practices Patient and Family Centered Care in concert with Houston Methodist ICARE values.
At Houston Methodist, the Director Imaging & Diagnostic Svcs position is responsible for the overall management, leadership and direction for Imaging Services including but not limited to CT, Radiology, Ultrasound, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PACS and other radiology modalities or services which includes short and long term planning, program and staff development, resource and budget management, quality monitoring and improvement, strategic planning, and evaluation of policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care and patient satisfaction. This position serves as key advisor on all administrative matters relative to Imaging Services and its activities, maintaining clinical and management knowledge to advance the profession and utilizes team leadership within the department to accomplish these goals and works in cooperation and under the direction of the Medical Director of Imaging to meet all regulations and accreditation standards.
At Houston Methodist, the Mental Health Technician/Assistant (MHT/Asst) position demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to communicate effectively and carry out delegated tasks for population-specific patients. This position functions under the guidance and supervision of the registered nurse in meeting the physiological and psychosocial needs of the patient. The MHT/Asst position records data and performs treatments and procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures and reports observations and patient problems to the nurse and utilizes therapeutic communication techniques. Overseeing multiple priorities, the MHT/Asst position must be able to perform the duties and functions of a Unit Administrative Assistant position and/or Patient Care Assistant position. This position may involve travel to conduct home visits. Other duties for the MHT/Asst position include serving as a mentor to MHT\'s, utilizing skills and knowledge, helping to train and orient others.
At Houston Methodist, the Patient Care Assistant (PCA) Specialist position is responsible for functioning as an expert and demonstrates highly competent knowledge necessary to communicate appropriately and carry out delegated nursing assistant level tasks for assigned patient populations, for providing high quality support of patient care and services. This position exercises sound judgement and executes proficient clinical skills necessary for assisting with patient-care procedures. The PCA Specialist position performs basic patient care activities of daily living (ADL\'s) within unit specific defined limits and job scope, such as assistance with patient elimination, hygiene, comfort, safety, nutrition, and progress activity and practices Patient and Family Centered Care. Other duties for this position include independently and expertly performing the duties and responsibilities of preceptor and clinical resource to PCAs, training and orienting others.
