  • PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Leads an assigned production team to achieve goals and problem solve while demonstrating a commitment to employees safety, teamwork, and product quality. Responsible for product processing, packaging, and storage in compliance with FDA, USDA, and Simmons rules and regulations.

  • Day\'s D Shift- Wed. 12pm-6pm and Thursday-Saturday 6am-6pm

  • Nights C Team- Wednesday 12am-6am and Thursday-Saturday 6pm-6am

  • Days D Team- Wednesday 12pm-6pm and Thursday-Saturday 6am-6pm

  • Night\'s A Team- Sunday-Tuesday 6pm-6am and Wednesday 6pm-12am

  • PURPOSE OF THE POSITION To be fluent in all Debone production work on a rotation basis. ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Performs all positions on the line in Debone. Rotates positions as needed to include cutting breasts, wings; pulling skin; using a saw; loading product; tray packing and any other position in Debone. Participates as a member of the Team. Participates in the ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies; coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members. Attends appropriate team meetings. As a member of the Team, fosters strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues; e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues and actively look for ways, and reinforce actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization. Simmons Operating systems principles and objectives: Is familiar with Simmons\' established operating systems (e.g. quality, security, office environment, company policies, LEAN); understands the responsibility to maintain familiarity with the systems and this position\'s role in support of these systems - including a consideration of the impact of individual actions on the systems and the responsibility to communicate concerns and improvement ideas. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Will use waterproof footwear, gloves, apron, hearing protection, hair net(s) and other protective equipment as needed or required.
