  • Summary The Natural Resources Manager serves as a senior principal advisor in the management of natural resources and is responsible for program development and implementation. The program may include, but is not limited to, vegetation, wildlife, sensitive species, exotic and pest species, fisheries, air and water quality, soils, geology, hydrology, paleontology, other physical sciences, NEPA Compliance, and range management. Responsibilities Directs an intricate program of natural resource management activities that involve sensitive and complex issues that may impact a wide variety of park issues. Prepares and coordinates the efforts of others in the preparation of the natural resources section of the resources management plan and specific actions plans. Represents the superintendent when working with others on resource stewardship issues. Utilizes appropriate Geographic Information System (GIS) technology and reviews data.
