The DCR system includes over 450,000 acres of parks, forests, water supply protection lands, beaches, lakes, ponds, playgrounds, swimming pools, golf courses, skating rinks, trails and parkways. The Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks qualified applicants for the position of Forest & Park Supervisor I. The incumbent is responsible for supervising the maintenance of assigned recreational areas; inspecting the condition of state-operated forest and park recreational areas and facilities; patrolling recreational areas and facilities; permitting the use of recreational facilities, park areas, etc.; organizing and implementing recreational and cultural programs.
