This person must have a valid drivers license and will drive a county car to review parcels. Must be able to read a map and some knowledge of real estate would be helpful but not necessary. Must be able to maneuver rough ground occasionally and measure improvements on land. Computer skills will be helpful.

Job Summary Works to address customer concerns and increase their satisfaction while reducing process variability and defect rates. Also works to maintain compliance to obligatory published quality standards Job Responsibilities Create and maintain internal protocols to comply with AS9100 and ISO-9000 standards. Prepare for customer quality audits and oversee internal quality audit program. Assess supplier quality performance and audit suppliers as required to achieve compliance. Perform root cause analysis using common problem-solving tools and statistics. Perform periodic measurement system analysis on measuring devices that are critical to quality. Assist efforts to train team on quality concepts and technology. Administer the correction action program. Write and/or revise documents to support company Quality Management System. Develop improvements to QMS. Evaluate production and inspection methods and oversee necessary changes to reduce variability. Prepare curriculum and lead training sessions. Protect themselves and their co-workers by adhering to all company safety and health policies. Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or safety coordinator. Must work with the EHS department to ensure all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met; OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA and Amphenol sustainability practices. Must work with the Quality department to ensure all quality standards are met for AS9100 certification. Comply with company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Quality or related field. Experience: 3-5 years quality inspection experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach and reach overhead. Must be able to lift and carry 0-25lbs. frequently. Preferred: Experience with statistical software such as Mini-tab, JMP or QI-Macros Certification as Quality Engineer and/or Quality Auditor, Quality Manager Lean/Six Sigma training 3-D CAD drafting ability and experience designing parts, tools, and gages Experience in electroplating, injection molding, assembly, metallurgy, and Swiss machine operations Knowledge: Education and Training Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects. Engineering and Technology Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services. English Language Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Mechanical Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Production and Processing Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Quality Knowledge of quality principles such as standards, defects, approval criteria, repeatability of a process, Plan-Do-Check-Act, 5-Whys, root cause analysis, and failure modes. Skills: Active Listening Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Monitoring Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action. Promote best practices of vegetation management for the district, emphasizing the killing or removal of invasive plant species. Manage the herbicide application program for the district as directed by the Maintenance Operations Specialist. Maintain records of all applications and herbicide use and performing minor repairs to equipment. Assist in roadside vegetation projects for grassland restoration, planting for buffers, encroachment barriers, soil stabilization and enhancement plantings. Assist with inspection on contracted areas for mowing, litter removal and homeless encampment. Conduct follow up inspections of products, materials and methods relating to roadside vegetation management to determine effectiveness of programs. Communicate between district office and roadside crews. Perform other duties assigned.
