Job Summary
General Summary The Church Office Manager will perform usual office, clerical, and bookkeeping tasks to assist the ministers and lay leaders of the congregation. Confidentiality, a positive work ethic, and a friendly courteous demeanor a must. Assigned Duties - Greet persons, respond to their requests, and provide hospitality as needed - Answer telephone calls and emails, as needed and requested by staff - Prepare church publications, including weekly bulletins, monthly newsletters/e-newsletters, reports, and related documents - Monitor church social media accounts and create regular postings to include creating Facebook events and editing YouTube worship videos - Maintain church website using WordPress - Work with lay leaders and minister(s) in keeping membership information current - Schedule usage and care of church facilities - Maintain adequate supplies and arrange upkeep of office machines and equipment - Attend and participate in Council meetings - Assist Council with annual stewardship/fund drive - Prepare weekly deposits and pay bills. Bills are paid by check and online bill pay - Record all income from donations, rent, and other gifts, for individual tax records. Prepare and mail statements to individuals as requested by the treasurer - Manage preparation and collection of staff timesheets and forward to accounting office for processing - Carry out church policies and other duties as directed by the minister(s) - Must perform duties in complete confidentiality Education/Experience/Requirements The knowledge and abilities described are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school education: - Must have familiarity with customer service, office management, and filing systems (digital and hard copy) - Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher), Google Suite (Docs, Forms, Sheets Drive), QuickBooks, and WordPress - Must pass the required background check Compensation/Hours/Additional Compensation - Compensation is $20/hour - Anticipate 20+hours/week, with some flexibility - Receive 40 hours paid vacation after 6 months employment To Apply Email cover letter and resume? with 2-3 references to: lynnbolin19631@outlook.com Position is open until filled. The Test Development Manager (TDM) provides broad-based K-12 assessment solutions and is knowledgeable of scholarly aspects of assessment measurement and systems. This team member is an expert in the item/stimulus and test development process for paper and online modalities. The TDM is fluent in assessment literacy and able to discuss, design, and inform assessment solutions. The most successful Test Development Managers have classroom experience and understand how student performance foundations and trends are reflected in assessment design. End-to-end client support will be provided through excellent collaboration with other teams. The Test Development Manager is required to exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluating criteria for obtaining results and should be instrumental in the development and implementation of assessment solutions.
Project Lead – The Content Specialist is responsible for the daily functions of one or more hand scoring contracts. This includes actively participating in scheduling and resource planning; developing item-specific training as needed, coordinating with program and project managers to ensure project is ready for active scoring; managing a team of Scoring Directors, Supervisors, and Scorers during active scoring; and performing post-project work and data analysis. Priorities include managing multiple competing deadlines, meeting customer’s requirements for quality of scoring, and directing the scoring team. As required by the project, Content Specialists are the primary customer liaison for content at Rangefinding meetings and will be expected to train Scoring Directors to facilitate teams of educators, as well as manage the workflow and client expectations.
NOTE: This is a hybrid position that requires eight days a month in office at a specified Wolters Kluwer location .
