  • Summary Appointee will operate a limited service bar such as portable bars for private parties and banquets. Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, receives and records payment at time of sale, and maintains inventory of stock. Ensures bar is in a presentable and sanitary condition. Must meet minimum age requirement Responsibilities Knowledge and skill to mix and serve beverages from a bar which is limited to a few varieties and brands of liquor, soda, beer, and wine. Pre-mixed beverages, such as daiquiris, are served; however, beverages of the exotic variety are not mixed or served. Knowledge of the correct proportions and mixtures to use in preparing beverages according to name request from patrons or cocktail attendants. Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and to resolve the problem or seek assistance if needed. Ability to collect tabs or chits in appropriate amounts and reconcile them with the quantities and prices of items dispensed. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications At least 6 months of bartending experience. Education A high school diploma or GED is preferred. The incumbent provides marketing support to local program managers and coordinates the services of the Marketing Offices. The position is primarily responsible for executing a comprehensive marketing program including writing and verbal communications; marketing plan development, market research. Responsibilities Serves as programs marketing, publicity and commercial sponsorship expert. Provides advice to IPD, program and facility managers regarding most efficient and cost effective marketing and publicity to meet programs goals and objectives. Coordinated written and verbal communications for a wide variety of media including military newspapers, MWR magazine, newsletters, websites, electronic and static marquees. Coordinates production of publicity materials and coordinates distribution of these materials. Ensures all U.S. Navy public affairs policies are strictly followed. responsible for the development of marketing plans and production of marketing campaigns to enhance and promote N9 programs from inception to completion. Reviews graphic request submissions for accuracy, viability, and pertinence to program objectives.
