Responsible: Responsible for maintaining a positive entertainment environment for all guests and associates while preparing beverage orders received from guests or Beverage Servers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must inventory and stock bar to appropriate levels prior to each shift accounting for any missing product and recording appropriately and all items being removed from the bar on spillage and/or waste sheets. Ensure drink preparation meets the quality standards for eye appeal, texture, color, and taste by observing and inspecting preparation before delivery to guests. Maintain drink specifications including established portion controls to control costs. Detect and act upon customer inebriation as trained. Check guests for proper identification. Answers questions and makes suggestions regarding beverages and service. Takes beverage orders and follows procedures when recording sale. Serves guests and beverage servers within established time limits. Observes guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when beverage has been consumed. Total bill, collects payment, and makes change. Clears away empty glasses and bottles. Prepares mixed drinks in accordance with recipes or dispensing systems. Maintains inventory of beverages and supplies maintained at the bar. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation requirements in serving and work areas, always. Comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and directives. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. Education in Bartending. Summary The primary purpose of the position is to provide direct service in the form of counseling individuals, couples, families and groups on matters pertaining to family dynamics, parent-child interaction, couples communication, stress reduction, adjustment to military lifestyles, Family Advocacy Program (FAP) case management, treatment services and psycho-educational training programs. Responsibilities This position is that of a fully licensed and credentialed clinical counselor located within the Counseling and Advocacy Program (CAP) at the Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC). FFSC provides an array of quality of life programs to active duty, reservists, retirees, and their families to enhance personal and family resiliency. Family Advocacy Program (FAP) case management includes the identification, reporting, safety planning, psychosocial and risk assessments, treatment planning, treatment, referral, and follow-up of intimate partner violence and child abuse allegations for active duty military members and their families. Cases may involve multiple difficult and complex family problems including dual diagnoses, violence and impulsivity, suicidal and homicidal ideations and/or attempts, and a variety of other mental health problems. The incumbent also provides assessment, safety planning, case management, treatment, and referral for Problematic Sexual Behavior in Children and Youth (PSB-CY). The incumbent facilitates support groups, offender treatment, and seminars/training focused on both prevention and intervention. The incumbent occasionally provides individual, couples, family, and group counseling to active duty personnel and their families. Clinical counseling typically addresses life stressors, family dynamics, and adjustment to military life. Clinical counseling includes the psychosocial assessment of individuals, development of treatment plans, treatment delivery, and appropriate referral. The incumbent also occasionally provides Sailor Assistance and Intercept for Life (SAIL) case management, including: assessment, safety planning, and care coordination for active duty personnel with suicide related behavior. Plans, develops and implements programs designed to foster positive healthy relationships within the family structure. Develops and maintains professional standards of service, community referral resources, and a close network with other service providers. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications A Master\'s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling or Clinical Psychology or related field from an accredited institution from any US State. Have and maintain a current and valid state clinical license that permits the incumbent to function as an independent health practitioner and fully meet and maintain the Tier II or Tier III SECNAVINST 1754.8 requirements. Are current in continuing education credits/units to maintain license. Knowledge of the specific demands of the military lifestyle, such as frequent separations, and high stress working environments that have an extensive impact on individuals and their families preferred. Ability to present sensitive, at times controversial, information to groups of people in a clear, concise manner. Knowledge of dynamics and diagnostic skills necessary for family violence identification, risk assessment, and safety planning. Ability to effectively interview, and clinically respond to the needs of clients including assessing suicide, homicide, and substance abuse. Ability to communicate in writing to develop and prepare case management documentation, safety plans, psycho-social assessments, treatment plans, correspondence, and reports. Knowledge and ability to use a personal computer and a variety of software programs to develop multi-media presentations and to facilitate work assignments. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English with all levels of management, staff, community agencies, military personnel, and their families. Essential Responsibilities include but not limited to: Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment, such as measuring devices, in an industrial establishment. The Tools and Parts Attendant does the following keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers, searches for lost or misplaced tools, prepares periodic inventory or keeps perpetual inventory and requisitions stock as needed, unpacks and stores new equipment; visually inspects tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn-out equipment to superiors; coats tools with grease or other preservative, using a brush or spray gun, and attaches identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment using electric marking tool. Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: High school graduate or equivalent is desirable. Five (5) years actual and recent, systems experience desired.
