Minimum of 2-3 years of RN experience in Home Health within the past year Experience in wound care/wound vac, patient teaching, medication management, lab draws, and Peripheral IV, PICC/Central Line, IV/TPN administration, CADD pump use, Foley Catheter, PleurX, Tracheostomy Ability to chart with Electronic Medical Record Software (Wellsky / Kinnser a plus). This is an excellent opportunity for a experienced medical billing detail oriented with managerial experience. In this vital role, the select individual will oversee all aspects of medical billing and collections, including working with different types of insurances including HMO, PPO, Medicare and Medi-Cal. The ideal candidate will be experienced in auditing, reviewing denial trends and creating effective policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of medical billing and collections. Work closely with various insurance providers including HMO, PPO, Medicare, and Medi-Cal. Audit and review denial trends, identifying potential areas of concern and implementing corrective measures. Develop and implement effective billing policies and procedures. Manage a team of up to 12 permanent employees, promoting a positive and productive work environment. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to medical billing and collections. Collaborate with financial and medical personnel for seamless operational flow. Generate reports and present analysis on billing activities for senior management.
