The applicant will develop and provide training for staff, regulated entities, and stakeholders on the assigned programs. The applicant will assist in overseeing contractors, participate in advisory committees, represent the MassDEP Drinking Water Program on committees, assist in the review and development of technical reports and interact with the public. The incumbent will review and approve drinking water equipment and treatment technologies and assist in developing applicable statewide guidance for such. The position involves working with other professional staff in a team setting and involves work of moderate difficulty and responsibility with substantial latitude for use of independent judgment.
