Accounts Receivable Specialist
Reporting to the Director of Academic and Bar Success, the Assistant Director implements student support programs and services for LLM students and provides support for all JD students within the College of Law. The Assistant Director works directly with law students with a focus on student success and satisfaction, retention, and timely progress toward degree completion. The Assistant Director is responsible for developing and carrying out innovative strategies and relationship-building activities to address the unique needs of law students, including those in our growing online program. The Assistant Director promotes the inclusion of all JD students within the College by emphasizing their well-being and helping them to persist in order achieve their educational and professional goals. This position directly supports the College\'s overall student enrollment and retention efforts.
Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Advancement for the College of Law, the Director of Development (DoD) serves as a major gift fundraiser responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospects and donors. This individual will focus on building a portfolio of alumni, parents, and friends by creating and implementing strategies for cultivating and soliciting prospects who have the capacity and inclination to make gifts/commitments of $100,000 or more. The DoD will engage and meet with prospects in person and virtually.

The Academic Operations Manager works in close partnership with the Program Director, managing the day-to-day operations and administration of VPA SULA, including administrative support for the Director. The Academic Operations Manager coordinates and supports events including networking and educational events, cultural activities, community service events, new student orientations, and new student welcome dinners in coordination with the Program Director. Additionally, the person in this position will help source and develop internship placements, facilitate the preparation of paperwork, and feedback, as well as process reimbursement requests, facilitate guest artists, procurement of supplies and reconcile procurement card activity. Furthermore, the person will serve as a contact for PTI needs, ensuring they have necessary materials for their classes. Additional responsibilities include maintaining social media presence and assisting with the VPA LA mentor program.
